Our first coworking meetup taught us one thing:

Good things happen when people show up and create together.

So, when it was time for our end-of-quarter review, I figured, why not combine it with another coworking session?

On October 18, 2025, we hosted our second BoldeShift coworking meetup at Presto HQ, a beautiful, calm workspace we’ve partnered with. (If you’re looking for a nice place to work from, you should definitely check them out.)

This time around, we wanted to do things a bit differently. Usually, our quarterly reviews happen online, but I wanted us to sit in the same room, to reflect, share what we’ve done, and plan what’s next.

Everyone came prepared. We each did a quick presentation on what we’d worked on in Q3, what went well, and what we hoped to do in Q4. It was a nice mix of familiar and new faces — me, Frankie, Ivy, Derrick, Gideon, and Mike, plus a few special invites: James, Ed, Reagan, Danny, Laurel, Sharon, and Sarpomah.

Bringing in guests added something different to the energy. Sometimes, when you’re used to working with the same people, things can get too comfortable. But with new faces around, everyone stepped up. It was also good for the guests. They got to see what we’re building at BoldeShift and even shared their perspectives.

After the presentations, we all went back to our projects. Franklina finally wrapped up her portfolio (major win!), Laurel edited three or four content pieces, and the rest of us kept pushing our work forward. We even had snacks this time, which made the vibe more relaxed and fun.

You can watch highlights of that day here.

Looking around that room, it really hit me. this all started from a simple idea, and now we’re here, building something real. People are showing interest, even from outside the community. Some of the guests asked how they could join, and that meant a lot.

Moments like this remind me why BoldeShift exists. It’s not just about gathering creatives, it’s about building a culture of doing. Everyone here is working on something, staying accountable, and aiming higher. That energy is contagious.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned through all this, it’s that ideas grow when you act on them. You don’t need everything figured out. Just start. The fear of failing is usually louder than the actual failure itself.

We’re still figuring things out, but we’re doing it together and that’s what makes it worth it.
